Mix between 50D and 250D Saturation and Tint up slightly, film grain size changed depending on film stock used and shadows, gate shift and shake at zero along with film blur and film breath close to zero

I did. BeastCam 10bit hdr. Knowing I’m shooting at 150mbps was what seemed to be the sell for me. FilmicPro is a solid app made by a very dedicated group of filmmakers/engineers. This was output at rec709 10bit not the hdr

As long as your phone can record portrait video you should have a picture. Check if it’s the front or rear camera. If nothing else contact the developer they can help

Yes I agree. I raised it in post, I’ve got a weird feeling Filmic and IPhone X are having issues around the audio

Also this was 11am and Boston has taken Covid Seriously so the absence of most city sounds are noticeable

@@noquabbinproductions I haven't used the Ambeo in a long time. In Filmic Pro, I noticed they added added Automatic Gain Control (Is that new?) I would turn if off. Also grab the Apogee app for the Sennheiser if you haven't already.. you can update firmware, define the short cuts etc.

@@JohnChu that might do the trick. It used to be so sensitive which app from apogee are you using?

@@noquabbinproductions Also Filmic Pro also allows setting audio levels.. the slider is a pain. The Ambeo app for the iPhone is apps.apple.com/us/app/sennheiser-ambeo-smartheadset/id1231509105

LPSRami it should happen automatically if your phone supports portrait mode. Also there have been some updates in these issues

Record a video clip. Open the editing section then select the video it should then show a selection of editing tools. Aperture should be right up front

Yes, I think in my quick look it was hastily shot. Again I mention it will never replace dslr’s but if iPhone users would like to experiment, this is the possibility.

Robin Davies-Rollinson so after testing, I never liked the “set” aperture which I think is f4 I like bumping it to f5.6 A wide open aperture looks super weird and doesn’t help your videos (in most cases)

@@noquabbinproductions I agree. I've been using the keyframes to pull focus from background to foreground objects very successfully. As a TV director/cameraman, I often wondered when we'd get this facility in Post!!! Feel sorry for some of my focus-puller colleagues :-)

Peter Carroll from testing it doesn’t allow you to use external footage. There’s a link to bring in footage, so it might be possible in the future

You can import external footage but the portrait mode with DOF/bokeh settings won't be available. You can use all other settings though, as it is a powerful video editing tool. But portrait video editing works only with videos shot with the app.

Eric Dupin correct. A new update now mentions that importing footage and using the aperture tool is coming in the near future

Não me Math thank you! I think at that shot the sun went behind a cloud and I’m compensating for everything that came before. The Shutter is 45° and in post I warmed the clip after correcting and used my own LUT. I’ll try and get a workflow video out
